Additional 2,200 m²!!!

To meet future demand and increase our capacity, we are expanding our facility by an additional 2,200 m².

Move-in to the new extension is planned for autumn 2026.

The expansion will provide more space for secondary operations, additional automated machinery, and an expanded tumbling facility. This investment is an important step in our continued development, creating better conditions for efficient production and future growth.

GT Academy Sustainability Aug 25

On August 25, we will host GT Academy Sustainability, a day dedicated to professionals working with sustainability, quality, or environmental management within the manufacturing industry.
During the day, we will discuss current sustainability challenges and opportunities, share experiences, and present how Gjuteriteknik works with sustainability. We will also visit the wind turbines in which we are part owners to gain insight into how renewable energy contributes to the industry.

2024 we had somewhat of a ‘babyboom’ at the company.
We are now looking forward to 2040 when it’s time for summer jobs!

We have expanded our office part with more places and spaces for physical and digital meetings.
Our own course activity GT ACADEMY now has a permanent classroom.
Plus other nice spaces that should be seen with your own eyes.

Bikechallenge one year!

Now it’s time to sum up the first year of our bicycle challenge BIKE CHALLENGE. (1/5-20 to 4/30-21)

This year’s winner: Rikard Ekdahl! Great job!

What do we get out of this you might ask?
Here is the result: In total, we have cycled 1835 times, an average of 9 cycles per day to and from work.

1. Everyone who has cycled has received the following health benefits (*source 1177, Vårdguiden)

Any form of movement has a positive effect on your body.
You become less stressed and sleep better.
The brain is positively affected when you move.

2. By doing so, we have reduced our fuel consumption corresponding to 1410 l of fossil fuel, which in turn has saved nature from 3220 kg of carbon dioxide. (based on an average distance of 3.5 km and an average consumption of 1.09 l/mile for a distance of less than 10 km. *source, Vi bilägare.se)

3. In addition to that, those who cycled have saved their wallets from SEK 70250 in expenses for fuel and car wear and tear (* based on Motormännen’s standard TCO) You will simply be happy.

Innovator of the year Värnamo 2020

We have received an award from Tillväxtstiftelsen in Jönköpings County and Värnamo industry.

The justification reads:
This year’s innovator in Värnamo municipality has the ability to believe in an idea and stick to it regardless of how the winds blow.
By prioritizing the long-term over the short-term with a clear sustainability perspective, both competitiveness and competitive power are created.

It makes us extremely happy and proud. We bow deeply and thank you.

Did you know that we have our own wind turbines that supply ALL our operations with energy?
Actually fantastic if we can say it ourselves.
They are only a few miles from us.
